The Cake is a Lie

So, this month's topic...
CAKES, I LOVE CAKES! :D The rich chocolate, the cream.. *drools*

My favourite cakes are from:
1. Secret Recipe. Heard that they're famous for cheese cakes, but I like their chocolate cakes better. Cheese cake can be kinda jelat...D:


2. San Terri
Chantily is awesome. xD Imma recommending it. No idea about their other cakes, since I never had the chance to try them. Too expensive.

3. Baskin Robbin
Ice-cream cakes! Made from Baskin Robbin's ice-cream! 8DDD
Only thing I dislike about ice-cream cakes is that they numb and freeze up your mouth. Oh yeah, they melt too. Lol, stating the obvious. xD


As for cupcakes, I still like them, but not as much as those normal-ish cakes. Those designer cupcakes, you know, like the ones in Delectable(Mid Valley), Bisou(KLCC), or to a lesser extent, Cuppacakes, their decorations are usually so fancy, so.. extravagant, SO DARN CUTE, but after you gobble down the icing(Some times rather unwillingly when the cupcake looks like this. ), there's just a plain and boring base. Cuppacakes's has my favourite cupcakes. Their icing is really yummy, like made from butter sugar or something. But their staff isn't friendly. >.>

Personally, I don't like cakes, but I can't resist the decorations on cake. Some of them can be so cute. 

Like these ones.

But sometimes, they can be so cute that I refuse to eat them, because it's such a waste. Cupcakes are the best though, especially chocolate ones. They're like muffins, but they're not.

PYC, I'm still debating regarding the privacy (or lack thereof presently) of this blog. Amongst ourselves, or totally public? Plus, the URL is pretty crud because "pyc" without hyphens in between was already taken.

(read: someone STOLE our name. Let's go hunt 'em down.)

Oh, and about the layout. Someone suggest a nice, pretty but conventional one to use, please, because - I don't know whether you guys are fine with it but - I'm sick of the absolutely generic blogger layouts they provide us with.
